Pelaaja voi muokata omaa kolmen hengen seuruettaan, jonka jäsenet hän saa valita pelin kuudesta eri sankarista.

Jokaisella kuudesta henkilöstä on oma tarinansa kerrottavanaan.

Kun pimeys peitti maan, Manan jumalatar veti esiin Mana-miekan lyödäkseen kahdeksan Benevodonia, tuhon hirviötä.

Hän sulki hirvitykset kahdeksaan Mana-kiveen ja pelasti maailman tuhon partaalta.

Maailman jälleenrakentamisesta heikentynyt jumalatar muutti itsensä puuksi ja vaipui vuosien uneen.
