All 13 episodes of the Japanese anime in which the film trilogy 'Berserk: The Golden Age Arc' is remastered and edited for television with new scenes included. Guts (voice of Hiroaki Iwanaga) grew up in a mercenary camp where he learned the formidable fighting skills from which he now makes his living. When he is defeated in single combat by Griffith (Takahiro Sakurai), the leader of mercenary group The Band of the Hawk, he is forced to join their ranks.

However, as Griffith, Guts and fellow mercenary Casca (Toa Yukinari) rise to prominence within the kingdom thanks to their exploits, a terrible fate awaits.
